Presales Consultant (PRE-Cons)

 

Key Responsibilities :

 

  • Assisting sales team or business partner to understand prospect requirements and design suggested IFS solutions to prospects.
  • To be involved in developing documentation and macro analysis (assessment, project scoping study, prototyping specification, system enhancement estimation, etc. ) during presales or implementation study
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and Consulting  or business partner to develop presentation materials, create case study demo, create prototypes, integrate systems, handle cross module issues and ensure timely and defect free delivery of the demo presentation
  • Assisting business partner by conducting regular audit to make sure the implementation meets IFS standard methodology (for projects that implemented by partner)

 

Requirements :

 

  • Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in Finance / Accounting, with at least 1-2 years experience as Presales within the IT and related industry

1.Introduction

The University offers scholarships for excellent applicants The recipients will have their tuition fees covered, up to a maximum of 3 years for a PhD, 2 -3 years for a Master degree and 4-5 years for a Bachelor degree. The recipients' academic performance will be assessed each year and only those achieving the required standard will have their scholarship renewed for the following year.

2. Scholarship availability:

About 25 in total including undergraduates, masters and doctors

3. Eligibility

1). Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

2). Educational background and age limits:

Applicants for undergraduate studies must hold a high school diploma and not be older than 25.

Applicants for master's studies must hold a bachelor's degree and not be older than 40.

Applicants for doctoral studies must hold a master's degree and not be older than 45.

THE UNIVERSITY OF PAVIA
FC&K: FUND FOR COOPERATION & KNOWLEDGE
II Edition: ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012

The University of Pavia (UNIPV), in order to promote international cooperation with the Developing Countries, offers 51 monthly instalments of 1.000 Euros each as scholarships to study at the University of Pavia or at the Institute for Advanced Study of Pavia (IUSS) during the academic year 2011-2012. Each scholarship will cover also the expenses for the Visa and for the travel to Italy and back (economy class).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The scholarships are designed for students coming from a Developing Country (preferably from Countries classified as Low-income economies and Lower-middle-income economies by the World Bank; see http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-classifications/country-and-lending-groups#Low_income) and for Developing Countries students who received a scholarship financed through the FC&K for the academic year 2010-2011 (in this case, expenses for VISA and for travel will not be covered). Only students born on/after the 1st January 1976 can participate.

At the end of the academic year, the University of Pavia will issue an academic transcript of records certificating the kind and the period of study.

APPLICATION

Interested candidates must submit the application (available on the website of UNIV http://www.unipv.eu/on-line/en/Home/InternationalRelations/InternationalActivities/FundforCooperationKnowledge.html) which has to include:
• a complete application form with all the requested personal and academic data, the exact name of the selected course degree and of the Faculty at the University of Pavia or at IUSS;
• a curriculum vitae (European format: available on this Web page);
• a programme of studies and/or research activities which the candidate intends to implement during his/her stay in Pavia;
• a recent letter of reference signed by a university professor;
• a recent health certificate attesting that the applicant is not suffering from physical or mental illnesses;
• a photocopy of a valid passport of the applicant.

DEADLINE

Applications must arrive both by mail and by e-mail (just one PFD file by email) by 12.00 pm of the 30 May 2011 and must be addressed to the following addresses:

EVALUATION AND SELECTION

Scholarships will be awarded by the Commission that manages the Fund for Cooperation and Knowledge. The decision of the Commission will be final and will be transmitted only to successful applicants.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The scholarships will be awarded according to the following modalities:
1. Successful candidates will have to confirm their acceptance of the scholarship and of its conditions within the within the time limit set in the letter communicating the awarding of the scholarship. If a candidate fails to confirm his/her acceptance, the scholarship will be awarded to the following candidate in rank;
2. Once received the declaration of acceptance of the scholarship, the University of Pavia will:
• send a prepaid travel ticket to Italy and provide for the travel expenses back to the developing country. Visa requirements will be care of the candidate, and will be reimbursed upon presentation of appropriate receipts;
• provide the candidate with the scholarship according to the final decision of the Commission: monthly instalments of 1.000 Euros each (the number of instalments assigned to each successful candidate will be decided by the Commission);
• arrange an accommodation in one of the University Residences of Pavia (lodging expenses will have to be paid by the candidate; if the candidate does not accept the proposed lodging, s/he will have to find another one by him/herself);
• provide a card for meals at University canteens (the candidate will get the student discount for the meals, which will be at his/her expense);
• guarantee all the facilities required during the period of residence - libraries, computer facilities, etc., including all the services of the Faculty which the student is associated with;
• help the candidate to settle through the services offered for free by the Welcome Point of the University of Pavia, which will provide also the information about applying for a student residence permit.
3. Insurances will be direct care of the selected candidates. In particular, health insurance might be bought by the candidate before leaving the country of origin, being this usually mandatory while
applying for the Visa.

A Postdoc position is available immediately in the group of Dirk Fasshauer at the Department of Cell Biology and Morphology, University of Lausanne, Switzerland.

The group is investigating the conserved protein machinery involved in the fusion of transport vesicles, in particular the proteins driving the release of neurotransmitters from synaptic vesicles. To come to a better understanding, we focus on a detailed structural, kinetic, thermodynamic, and phylogenetic characterization of the underlying protein-protein interactions.

We are seeking highly motivated and creative students with a firm background in biochemistry or biophysics. Prior knowledge in spectroscopic (Circular Dichroism and Fluorescence Spectroscopy) or calorimetric (Isothermal Titration Calorimetry) is a plus.

Technical University of Denmark, Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy: job description

The Radiation Physics Programme at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, Technical University of Denmark, is seeking candidates for a Postdoc position to work on neutron transport simulations for the design update of the European Spallation Source (ESS).

The Radiation Physics Programme is carrying out fundamental and applied research within the areas of retrospective radiation dosimetry, medical and industrial dosimetry, and reactor physics. The programme presently consists of 25 people including Researchers, Technicians and PhD students, engaged in research, innovation and education.


Job description
The successful candidate will join a research project funded by the Danish Agency for Science Technology and Innovation in support of the design update phase of ESS. The design update includes simulation of essential ESS components including the target-moderator and beam extraction system.

The project aims at interfacing Monte Carlo neutron transport codes for hot/thermal and for cold neutrons and applying these in the optimization of the target/moderator and beam extraction system of the neutron spallation source.
The project will be undertaken in close collaboration with the ESS organization in Lund, Sweden, and with other European project participants.


Qualifications
The candidate should have a PhD in theoretical or experimental physics with a strong background in computational physics or equivalent.

  • scientific production and research potential at international level
  • innovative skills and the ability to generate new ideas
  • an all-round experience basis, preferably including international experience
  • the ability to contribute to development of the department's internal and external cooperation
