We are looking for a highly motivated new team member interested in elucidating the roles of ubiquitination in the regulation of immunity in plants. Directions of research will focus on the ubiquitination of protein complexes involved in exocytosis as a regulatory mechanism of defense responses. The successful applicant will conduct studies in vitro and in plant models using a wide range technologies in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, histology as well as confocal and two-photon imaging.
Applicants should hold an excellent university degree in biology or biochemistry and have good command of the English language. Experience in plant-microbe interaction assays and/or protein biochemistry and cell biology is desired, but not essential.
