Dear colleagues:
The High Level Panel of Eminent Persons (HLP) on the Post-2015 Agenda is a group of experts that has been convened by the UN Secretary General to deliberate, consult and provide independent recommendations on the global development agenda after 2015. The Panel is comprised of 27 members, including Heads of State, Ministers, former Ministers and independent experts. It is chaired by Prime Minister David Cameron, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
The High Level Panel will hold its fourth consultative meeting in Bali, Indonesia from 25 to 27 March 2013. Each meeting of the HLP has included events aimed at enabling a structured dialogue between the HLP members and key stakeholder groups, including civil society, academic institutions, national and local elected representatives and the business community.
This meeting, the third in a series following similar meetings in London and Monrovia, reflects the final opportunity for the academic and research community to voice their insights and suggestions and help shape the final report of the HLP to the Secretary-General on the post-2015 framework. Please join us for this exciting opportunity!
We are releasing the attached Call for Applications to invite members of the global academic and research community to participate in the HLP's final meeting and consultation in Bali, or you can also download the application form here. Completed application forms and CVs must be received by Tuesday, March 5th at 11:59pm Jakarta time.
