[beasiswa] [info] PhD and Postdoc openings in Oxford in Machine Learning

  

There are openings in my group at both PhD and postdoc levels, please  distributed to people you think will be interested.      Current topics I am interested in are Bayesian machine learning,  including Bayesian nonparametrics, probabilistic modelling and large  scale Bayesian inference, large scale learning systems, including deep  learning and distributed learning architectures, as well as  applications to genetics, genomics, vision and linguistics.      For PhDs, the application deadline is 23 January.  There are two  programmes here:      http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/prospective_students/research_degrees/dphil_in_statistics  http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/prospective_students/research_degrees/oxwasp_-_the_oxford_warwick_statistics_programme      The first one will admit students directly to work with specific  supervisors, the second one has an initial first year of taught  modules after which students will get to do two mini-projects and  decide who to work with in the following 3 years.      For postdoc opening, it's in Bayesian machine learning and funded by  the ERC.  I am interested in getting somebody with strong interest in  inference algorithms and software, please email me for more  information.
