Graduate research and/or teaching assistantships for the Ph.D. program in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida are currently available. The research focus areas are in Wireless Sensor Networks, Signal Processing for BCI, Speech/Speaker Recognition for Biometrics. The appointment is for the AY 2010-2011 includes tuition. Support beyond the first year will be based on the availability of funds, performance, and other factors.

Interested candidates should contact Prof. Ravi Sankar (r.sankar@ieee.org) and send by email their resume outlining the Education and Professional Experiences, Statement of Purpose, Potential for conducting independent research, Transcripts, GRE scores, References, etc.
