*Invitation to apply for UTS Doctoral Scholarships in the areas of  Information and Communications Technologies.*      We invite excellent ​candidates to apply for Doctoral Scholarships (IPRS/APA/IRS/RTS/Teaching  Assistantship) to work in the Centre for Real Time Information Networks​ (CRIN) or the Research Centre for Innovation in IT Services and Applications (iNext)​, School of Computing and Communications, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.      We invite you to view the following web links for more information.         - www.uts.edu.au     - www.crin.uts.edu.au<http://www.uts.edu.au/research-and-teaching/our-research/centre-real-time-information-networks>     - www.inext.uts.edu.au/​      The scholarships are as follows:     - IRS - International Research Scholarship. This will pay your fees and     is worth about $20K​ per year​.     - IPRS - International Postgraduate Research Scholarship. This will     provide an additional $25K ​per year ​living allowance     - APA - Australian Postgraduate Award. The same as the IPRS, but is     primarily intended for Australian citizens and permanent residents. Some     are available to international students     - RTS - Research Training Scheme. Same as IRS, but for Australian     citizens and permanent residents.     - The School makes available Teaching Internships for properly qualified     students. These are worth $10K per year.      ​Please see the websites for details of the research interests of the two Centres.​      ​There is an excellent team of experienced supervisors to form your supervisory panel.

The procedure is as follows:     1. You should contact Professor Robin Braun (robin.braun@uts.edu.au) for     an initial screening.     2. The next stage is to complete an online survey that will enable us to     decide w​hether to support your application or not.     3. If we support your application, we will then invite you to apply for     a Research Candidature, under a Supervisor that we will nominate.     4. Your application will be considered by the Faculty,     ​and may include a Skype or telephone interview ​     with final decisions expected in late August.
