The Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages (ILOS) is inviting applications for a doctoral research fellowship. The appointment is for the duration of three years. Applicants needs a master's degree or equivalent in Linguistics, European Languages or in a discipline related to Traces of History's research profile. The successful candidate should have good working skills in English. The application deadline is 1 December 2014.

Study Subject(s): Fellowship is awarded in diachronic linguistics in the Traces of History project at the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages (ILOS) at the University of Oslo (UiO).

Scholarship Description: One Doctoral Research Fellowship (SKO 1017) within linguistics in the Traces of History project is available in the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages (ILOS) at the University of Oslo (UiO). Traces of History is a project within diachronic linguistics with special consideration of Verb Second in the Romance and Germanic languages. We seek a PhD candidate with excellent research qualifications who will contribute to the project.
