In the US, scholarships administered by the host university are typically granted only after you have been admitted (accepted).
For Masters level Statistics study, you should look into other departments' projects to see if you can get part-time employment. For example, it is often the case that a Psychology professor has a funded project that requires somebody with a lot of skill in statistics (data crunching, basically) so instead of hiring a Psych student that professor may hire a Stats student.
When you get admitted, get in touch with the Stats department's graduate office and ask them about such opportunities.
Your best bet for scholarship from the Stats department is probably Teaching Assistantship, so you should play up any and all teaching / lecturing experience you may have.
