PhD student position in Internet of Things
at the Department of Information Technology, Communication Research Group.
In one of our projects, we have developed a platform suitable for programming future wireless sensor networks (WSN) as well as tools and algorithms for supporting WSN applications. We are looking at extending this work to Internet of Things (IoT) and therefore want to strengthen the team with a new PhD student.
The candidate will work on aspects related to networking, optimization of the code deployment, network maintenance, the quality of the network links, or the overall architecture in a large Internet of Things system. Software-defined networking techniques may be applied. The work will partly be experimental and partly based on simulations and analytical work.
