Please find enclosed the final announcement and registration information of the fifth Indonesian-Netherlands Open Science Meeting 2009 (OSM09).
The motto of the meeting is 'Science, Innovation and Valorisation: Bridging the Gap between Science, Market and Society'.
This is to invite those interested to register as participant. Please submit your registration before 7 September 2009.
The OSM offers lectures on how to perform research, societal responsibilities of the researchers and valorisation of knowledge. Besides the plenary seminars affiliated master classes are organised on infectious diseases/biomedical sciences, healthy living, Agriculture beyond Food, water research and management, and rule of law. In the area of Agriculture beyond Food a matchmaking event is offered to explore possibilities for new forms of scientific and economic cooperation between Indonesian and Netherlands private enterprises and knowledge institutions.
