[beasiswa] [info] POSTDOC position in electron microscopy in BERLIN

The Microstructure Group offers a

Post-doc position in Catalysis
for 2 years with possibility of extension.

The research project is focused on the catalytic conversion of biomass to olefins.

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in chemistry. At least one year post-doc experience and a solid background in catalysis, in particular liquid phase (batch reactor, GC, HPLC), is a prerequisite. Applications of handicapped persons are preferred when the qualification is equal.

The Microstructure Group offers a position for a

Project Leader for Electron Microscopy
The position is temporary with the option to an extension of 5 years.

The research group is equipped with two SEMs, three TEMs (among them an aberration-corrected TEM (Titan)) with EELS/EDS/HADDF facilities, and various equipments for sample preparation. The project leader is responsible for original research on SEM/TEM, for the coordination of TEM/SEM-related project and for the active participation on nanostructured materials investigation of catalysis/energy-storage application. We offer the possibility to perform independent research projects outside the nanostructure project. Women are encouraged to apply. Applications of handicapped persons are preferred when the qualification is equal.
