Dear friends and colleagues,
As part of an international joint doctoral programme of seven European Universities (www.fonaso.
We are seeking highly qualified PhD-candidates for the topic "The international forest regime as driver for sustainable national forest policies". Key questions of the project could address (i) the manifestation of international forest-related commitments in national policy, (ii) the role of national administrations in the implementation of such commitments and (iii) options for strengthening their future impact. The empirical cases may be chosen from countries worldwide. Please find details on the topic at the bottom of this email or under (www.fonaso.
Applicants should hold a degree in forestry with an emphasis on social sciences or a degree in political science and interest in forest-related national and international policy (e.g. forestry, climate or biodiversity policy). Candidates have to apply for the scholarship with a short proposal related to the above topic (see www.fonaso.eu)
