Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience/Psychology

The Cognitive Engineering Lab of Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology 

(SINAPSE) is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow/Scientist for a period 2 years; 

position to be filled as of March 1, 2015 or sooner if it is filled).

Research Topic

The project examines the feasibility of cognitive training in augmenting brain 

performance. We are looking for a research fellow who is interested in developing 

and (or) employing neuroscience/psychology training protocols and advanced 

multimodal neuroimaging techniques to understand the training and transfer 

effect on the brain plasticity.  

Scientific profile 

 Recent  Ph.D. degree in neuroscience/psychology related project 

(preferably in cognitive training); 

 Solid programming skills; the project involves programming in Matlab and 

other programming tools (E-prime);

 Knowledge in multivariate statistical analysis is necessary.

 Multimodal neuroimaging  (fMRI/ EEG)  background is preferable. 

Personal profile

 Good communication and English writing skills is essential;

 Interdisciplinary communication and team competence;

 Creative and highly self-motivated.
