Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with Third-Countries.
It includes partnerships between European and third-country higher education institutions, exchange and mobility at all levels of higher education, including a scholarship scheme. This means support for mobility for students (undergraduate, master, doctoral and post-doctoral)
and for staff (academic and administrative)
Thematic fields of study - The following list of regional needs in terms of thematic fields of study has been identified for this window:

• Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning
• Business Studies and Management Sciences
• Education, Teacher Training
• Engineering, Technology
• Geography, Geology
• Law
• Medical Sciences
• Natural Sciences
• Social Science
• Other Areas of Study
The maximum grant per partnership is € 2.475 million.
